CityPOS is an invoicing software for points of sale that combine both the maximum ease of use and the pleasant visual interface and pretty intuitive to the user. It suits several areas of business, from catering, bakeries, coffee shops, fisheries, libraries, perfumeries, among others, and it owns a pre-installed database for each business.
In which operative systems does CityPOS work ?
CityPOS was developped to work in Windows, Linux and Android. If the POS you purchased doesn't have CityPOS yet, please check the download area of this website where you can download the right version for your operative system.
How can I download the CityPOS software?
CityPOS can be downloaded on the download area of this website, and you will have access to the demo software to check it out for free.
How can I install the software on my equipment?
CityPOS Advanced:
Windows: Upon download, you must run the installation of the CityPOS program just like a regular program, and proceed with the installer's directions.
Android: Upon download, you must run the installation of the CityPOS program and click in install. You need to enable Unknown Sources on your device to install the software.
Linux: Upon download, you must burn the CityPOS image (CityPOS.iso) on a CD-ROM. After burning the image, you need to change the boot order on your BIOS so it launches from the CD-ROM reader. Turn on your device, and it should automaticly start the installation process.
CityPOS Easy Plus:
Linux: After downloading the ISO, you should burn it to a CD. Access the BIOS on your computer, and set the boot to the CD Drive. Reboot the POS and wait for the instalation to complete
CityPOS Basic:
Windows: Download the executable and run it to install the software.
How does the configuration of software work?
Once you launch the software for the first time, you will be greated with a configuration wizard. Fill in the information the wizard asks and if you have a printer or client display, you should configure them through the wizard.
How can I get a software license for my store/company?
If you reside in Portugal, CityPOS licenses are available for sale in IT stores. If you do not reside in Portugal, you can contact us, and we will redirect you to one of our sellers so you can buy it online. Upon having the license, you should follow the instructions that are in the box of the product to proceed with its activation. If you bought the license with one of our sellers, they will help you setup the license correctly
How do I activate the license of the CityPOS?
To activate a CityPOS license you must fill-in the form available in the Licensing area of the this website. Once we have your details, your license will be created and we will send you the necessary steps to activate said license.
How long does my license last?
The CityPOS license is valid for either a year or six months, starting from the activation date. After the license expire, you'll have to contact us, or a seller so your license can be renewed and updated with the most recent security updates and TA norms.
